Editor Resources
From Global Voices Wiki
On this page, you will find more information about what and how to do things as an editor on Global Voices.
[edit] Welcoming a new author
It's a good idea to exchange a few emails with someone to make sure they understand what being a Global Voices author entails. Once they have an idea or draft of a post ready, you can create a user account for them on Global Voices.

When you send the new author his/her login info you should also include the link to the Welcome to New Authors page, that describes Global Voices in a little more detail.
[edit] Adding new authors to mailing lists
Once an author's first post has been published, they're ready to be added to at least two mailing lists. One, is the mailing list for your region. The second is the gv-authors group, which is the universal mailing list for all authors, editors, and translators. You can submit their email here for approval.
