At Global Voices we don't have an office, a water cooler, or a local bar. But we do have our own chat room. This is where we hold meetings regularly.

Internet Relay Chat, or IRC, is a protocol for chatting over the internet. You access an IRC room through a client by telling it the server and room you want to join proposal software.

IRC Chat in a web browser
You can log into the Global Voices IRC room in your browser window by accessing http://webchat.freenode.net
- Where is says "Nickname" write your nickname
- Where it says "Channel" write #globalvoices
Solve the captcha and click Connect! That's it.
ChatZilla the Firefox Extension
If you use Firefox, you can use the chat extension called ChatZilla. Activate Chatzilla and click on the seo [1] to take you directly to the GlobalVoices IRC channel and that URL [2] for GVmena IRC channel. thiet ke web.
